The hired-celebrant model is quietly failing couples.
You spend months agonising over the menu, the band, the flowers — and then hand the only part of the day that's actually about you to a stranger you met on a 30-minute video call. They show up with a template, change the names, read it in a voice that isn't yours, and leave before dinner.
